ii. Add your selected menu to the cart and proceed to checkout.
iii. Select your delivery location or enter your delivery address
iv. You can also start your order by clicking on ‘Order Now if your favourite restaurant or food pops up when browsing our app or website.
v. Select your payment method. Enter the correct phone number to help us contact you regarding your order if needed.

You can order several dishes from the same restaurant, however, because we are dealing with food, you are expected to finish your order with a particular restaurant before you place an order from another restaurant.

We do have pre-orders available for all orders. During checkout, select the date and time you want the order delivered.

A normal considerate fee is charged for delivery services. However, a vendor might decide to charge no fee for delivery. You can easily check the delivery charge for each restaurant whilst browsing our platform. The delivery fee (if any) is specified on the Review Order page.
The answer is yes. When the order you made is not something a single delivery driver can handle there will be a surge fee added to the order you made. The surge fee is the delivery fee for another delivery driver helping to bring the order to your doorstep.

Our delivery hours are from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM for most restaurants while for some selected restaurants it is from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
Yes if the location is currently covered by 9ja Kitchen. We will deliver from any restaurant listed on the search results for your location. We recommend enabling your GPS location finder and letting the app auto-detect your location.

Yes! Simply open the Orders section on your 9ja Kitchen account and select an order from your recent orders and click on Reorder.
Tracking your order is very simple follow the steps below:
i. Click on Orders on the 9ja Kitchen App
ii. Select the order you would like to track
iii. Click on the order to see the progress of your order
Also, note that 9ja Kitchen will send you a Push Notification (PN) on the step-by-step progress of your order. Please ensure that Push Notification is activated on your 9ja Kitchen App.
We constantly work with our partners to ensure the best possible delivery time for your order. In some unforeseen scenarios like weather traffic etc there may be an unexpected delay. However, we work towards ensuring that such occurrences are reduced. You can track your order live on our App and if your order has been picked up then rest assured that the Driver is on his way and you can also contact him directly. However, if your order is delayed more than 15 minutes and not yet picked up by the rider please contact us here. On the delivery tracking page when we exceed the timelines we also show an option to confirm delivery. In case you still haven't received your order by then please do inform us of the option there and our team will investigate the cause of the delay and reach out to you at the earliest.

Yes in some exceptional cases, you can edit your order only before it's accepted by the restaurant. If you need help to edit an order which is still not accepted by the restaurant. Please contact us here.
If you'd like to add more items to your order simply place a new order for the desired item.
Your address and phone number can only be changed before successfully placing an order. Please note that the new address should be a location covered by the restaurant. No change can be made after order placement.
If you need to change the phone number associated with your account for a future order please contact us via email (support@9jakitchen.com) or live chat and our customer service will take care of it.
Your can only cancel your order when it is yet to be confirmed or if the order has not been accepted by the vendor.
If the order has already been accepted by the vendor or picked up by the delivery agent you are no longer able to cancel. Kindly note that you will be charged the full value of the order if you still want to go ahead with the cancellation.
You'll be charged the total amount of your food if: the delivery agent reaches the delivery area and you are unreachable If our delivery agent is unable to deliver your order due to the wrong location or address.
If your order was cancelled before it was accepted by the vendor or assigned to a delivery agent your refund will be processed into your bank card/account.
It may take up to 3 - 7 business days for your bank to credit the refund amount to your account.

We do not encourage customers to tip the delivery agents although we can’t stop you from being you. Tipping is never mandatory it's entirely up to you. You can tip to thank your delivery agent for delivering your order. You can only tip your delivery agent in cash when they deliver your order. The delivery drivers keep 100% of the tips you give them.
